Villa Margon (English Edition)

The result of a photographic campaign by Massimo Listri, the book illustrates the history, architecture and art treasures of the famous 16th-century residence. A small jewel among the hills overlooking Ravina di Trento, this noble summer residence was built by the Basso family from Bergamo in the mid-16th century. A holiday resort whose interiors are frescoed with pictorial sequences depicting the twelve months, scenes from the Old and New Testament and the military exploits of Emperor Charles V. Villa Margon, restored to its former splendour by the new ownership, is open to the public and offers an original historical-artistic and eno-gastronomic journey.
