For the first time, the colour photographs of Daido Moriyama, one of the most important figures in contemporary Japanese photography, are presented in an extraordinary limited-edition artist’s book. Curated by Filippo Maggia, this exceptional project is designed for collectors seeking the magic of a precious and rare object, destined to increase in value over time. Three limited editions, each featuring a different image, with 100 copies per edition. Each copy is housed in a black cloth-covered slipcase (45 × 35 cm), designed and produced exclusively for this Limited Edition. For Daido Moriyama, the night is a magical realm — a space of surprising encounters that fuels what he himself described, in a 2010 interview, as a “constant back-and-forth between reality and Daido”.
