AlUla. Wonder of Arabia

AlUla, at the crossroads of continents, has been a meeting point for civilizations who left behind an abundant heritage. For centuries, its oasis was a key stop on the Incense trade route connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe. Once named Dedan, it has been successively ruled by Ancient North Arabian Kingdoms, the Nabataeans who founded Hegra – sibling of Petra – and the Romans, infusing the region with Greek and Latin influences before Muhammad’s arrival in 630 A.D. All these civilizations stamped the region with their unique culture, leaving exceptional archaeological sites for posterity.
